Please help us congratulate the winners from this weekend’s annual Ste. Genevieve Fire Department Awards Banquet.

There is no other profession that is more rewarding and fulfilling than the fire service. These honorees have gone above and beyond the call of duty.

Every year we honor the bravery, sacrifice and dedication of our members through these awards; this year’s recipients are examples of these qualities.

YEARS OF SERVICE AWARD
We would like to recognize the following members for their dedicated years of service to the citizens of Ste. Genevieve, MO:
Bill Holst – 5 years, Bob Wertman – 10 years, Carl Bone – 10 years, Gary Roth – 25 years, Ken Steiger – 30 Years

CLINICAL SAVE AWARD
The following Clinical Save Commendations were given out for their work in saving a life. These individuals were recognized for their efforts in 2 separate incidents:
Mick Schwent, Carl Bone, Travis Byers, Charlie Wibbenmeyer, Gary Roth, Bill Holst, Owen Roth, Bo Caldwell, Mike Brocato, Jerry Staab.

FIRE CHIEF’S AWARD
This award was presented to the following firefighters who have gone above and beyond the call of duty:
Mick Schwent, Owen Roth, Bo Caldwell, Mike Brocato, Justin Donovan, Jeff Gurley.

FIREFIGHTER OF THE YEAR
This award is given to one individual firefighter who exhibits outstanding performance and dedication to the department. The award is voted upon by members of the department each year and is truly a peer recognition for their work and effort:
